HEAD OF PRICING STARTEGY & ANALYTICS


A leading national provider of home services that serves both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business customers across the United States.

The Role:
In this role as the Head of Pricing Strategy & Analytics you would be responsible for developing and implementing advanced pricing frameworks to optimize profitability, enhance competitiveness, and leverage AI-driven insights for dynamic pricing. This role will be instrumental in modernizing pricing models through automation and advanced analytics, directly influencing business outcomes.

This position is ideal for a results-driven professional with expertise in AI-powered pricing models and the ability to function as both a strategic leader and hands-on contributor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute data-driven pricing strategies for service operations and parts distribution.
  • Build analytical frameworks to assess price elasticity and customer behaviour across various service categories.
  • Lead quantitative analysis of historical pricing data to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Design and implement AI-driven pricing models for automation and standardization of pricing strategies.
  • Partner with data science teams to apply machine learning algorithms for real-time pricing adjustments.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to understand cost structures and develop profitable pricing frameworks.
  • Analyze competitor pricing and market trends to inform strategic pricing decisions.
  • Develop and maintain pricing dashboards and reporting tools using Snowflake, SQL, Python, R, and visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to cross-functional teams, implementing pricing strategies with measurable impact.
  • Manage and mentor a team while maintaining a strong individual contributor presence.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience in pricing strategy & analytics.
  • Proven expertise in developing pricing strategies for B2B and B2C channels.
  • Strong proficiency in AI-driven pricing models and leveraging large datasets for pricing optimization.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python, R, and working experience with Snowflake.
  • Experience with pricing automation and price elasticity modelling.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Track record of implementing successful pricing strategies in fast-paced, high-impact environments.
  • Proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Ability to work in EST time zone (remote candidates must align with EST hours).

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in service industry or parts distribution pricing.
  • Background in field service operations or home maintenance services.
  • Familiarity with price optimization software & tools.
  • Knowledge of large-scale surge pricing models (e.g., Uber-style pricing frameworks).
  • Exposure to CPG or national brands with dynamic pricing requirements.
